Do we know or we just think we do? Thinking is a process in which our focus is turned in to a stream of thoughts. Thoughts which we have inherited from our ancestors and got infected with them from our society. Are they real? Do we believe them? They are different. Yours and mine. Which one represents the truth? We could argue about it. We often do. We run wars. We kill…. And why? Because we are right and they are wrong. And because we are right, we have the right to do all those things to the people that are wrong. And we are always right. We always were. We have the right God, the right religion, political view, moral values, culture, laws etc. It seems that in this world to be right, justifies everything. It is very important to be right, otherwise, you cannot finish class and if you do not have an education, you cannot get a decent job, a decent place to live, a decent food to eat, etc. But if we look closely, what does being right actually means? It means that you believe your mind. It means you believe your mind patterns, moral, religious, political concepts. It means you believe in your stream of thoughts which you have heard from your parents, teachers, preachers, politicians, friends, television, books, newspapers, etc. Your thoughts are different if you were born in Afghanistan as if you were born in the USA. They are different if you were born in the 17th century or in the 20th century. They are different if you were raised by a Muslim, or by a Christian, by a sheep or by a wolf. If you were raised by a Muslim, you become a Muslim. If you were raised by a sheep, you become a sheep. At least as long as you believe your thoughts. At least as long as you are right. And we are always right. We are right if we are Conservatives and we are right if we are Liberals, we are right if we are communists or if we are socialists, we are right if we are right and we are right if we are wrong. It is all a matter of our belief system. Thoughts plus faith equals truth; relative truth. Who are we as a nation, as a society and as an individual is defined with our stream of thoughts, with our beliefs. The whole concept of our society is based on being right. Based on the knowledge. If we want to be right, we need to know the truth. To know the truth, we have to learn it, believe it and defend it. Otherwise, it will not exist. That is why it is called, relative truth. It is conditioned by our faith. But if you do not recognize it as such, it becomes a reality – your reality, our reality, our mind program. We have a whole system based on mind programming. We call it learning system, educational system. We produce the society of like-minded individuals. We produce “smart” people, people who learn and remember, naive people, people who believe a good people, people who obey, strong people, soldiers, people who defend. Would the real truth need all that, if it would be real? Would we have to learn it, believe it and defend it? No! The real truth lies in our hearts. We named it love.
